The laser treatment itself takes under 60 seconds per eye. From the time you sit in the procedure chair to the time you’re done, the entire process is typically 15 to 20 minutes for both eyes. You’ll spend more time in pre-op preparation — receiving numbing drops, a mild relaxant if desired, and final measurements — than you will under the laser. Most patients are genuinely surprised by how fast it goes.
