SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) is a flapless laser vision correction procedure available at Florida Eye Custom Vision in Jacksonville, FL. Rather than cutting a corneal flap like LASIK, the Zeiss VisuMax laser creates a small disc of corneal tissue — called a lenticule — entirely inside the eye.
